School Closings for Inclement Weather

When faced with the decision as to whether or not the schools need to be closed due to bad weather or road conditions, the first concern will always be the safety of our students.  The transportation director and the superintendent will consider road conditions at key points in our district before making a decision about school closing.

On mornings where the weather conditions might cause icing or flooding, please check the local radio and television stations for information regarding school closings.  We will make our decision by 6:00 a.m. When it becomes necessary to open late or to release students early, parents should tune into the following radio and television stations:
