Comfort ISD Update April 1, 2020
Given the rapidly evolving situation with COVID-19, Comfort ISD will extend the suspension of normal district operations through May 4, 2020, in an effort to support our nation’s need to slow the spread of the novel coronavirus or COVID-19.
To reduce the necessary number of pickups, CISD meal pickup will be from 8:30 to 10:30 AM Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Monday and Wednesday any child in the car will receive 2 breakfast and 2 lunch and 1 breakfast and 1 lunch on Friday.
Starting tomorrow, March 24, Comfort ISD will providing breakfast and lunch at Comfort Elementary School via a drive thru only service at the normal parent pick-up area on 4th Street at the back of the school. Breakfast will be from 7:30 - 8:30 AM. Lunch will be 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM. Any person 18 and under can receive a meal but they must be present at pick-up. To follow social distancing guidelines, you must remain in your car.
Comfort ISD will be closed starting March 23 through April 3 to support our community and health care professionals in the ongoing goal of containing the spread of the novel coronavirus, or COVID-19.
To date there are no reported Covid -19 cases in Comfort, Kendall County or Kerr County.
To support the health and safety of our students and communities, the University Interscholastic League (UIL) is suspending all UIL sanctioned contests, rehearsals, practices and workouts.
